My first attempt at blogging.
As part of my teacher training I must learn how to blog. I am told this will help me move into the 21st century. I am a little opposed to this type of communication because there is no face with which I am communicating. It makes it all too impersonal for me. One is fearful of that which one does not understand and this is one of those things I don't understand. Why spend time talking to my computer? What is there in blogging that I should be interested in?

What do you mean? You are communicating with a 17" screen. What better friend can you have, they don't bite, yell at you, stick their tongue out, nor do they ignore you when you type the keys or move the mouse?
